Albert Cilia-Vincenti yet again waxes lyrical upon the undiluted pleasures of multiculturalism (October 20).

Multiculturalism implies that all cultures are afforded equal status with no special regard for the host culture. Indeed, the host culture is routinely expected to give priority to its guests’ demands.

Is this what he really wants for our islands?
