Le Méridien St Julian’s Hotel & Spa in Balluta has officially launched its Christmas festivities with an evocative evening, where the media, corporate clients and patrons were the first to experience the hotel’s creative Christmas concept.
This year, the hotel’s hospitality team has built its Christmas festivities around the unifying theme of music, with a dedicated Christmas brochure that inspires everyone to get into the festive spirit.
Impeccable service, creative cuisine and unique experiences are at the top of the hotel’s priority list, as the team strives to make sure that the season is a memorable one for all clients.
Marketing executive Melissa Caruana said: “Our creative ambassadors, including Edward Mercieca, Renzo Spiteri and Marie-Thérèse Vassallo, made this event a particularly enjoyable one with live percussion and singing. Our kitchen brigade also prepared a giant Christmas cake in the shape of a grand piano; portions of the cake are being sold to visitors and proceeds will go towards L-Istrina.”
Room division executive Ana Nogueira, assisted by the maintenance team of the hotel, has prepared appropriate Christmas outfits to dress up each venue of the hotel.
“The place looks magical and each outlet takes our guests into a different musical journey. The decoration of our reception hall has been inspired by Mary Poppins, with countless illumin-ated umbrellas hanging down from the ceiling,” she explained.
The options for Christmas functions and staff parties at Le Méridien St Julian’s count no less than 12 menus. With dishes inspired from classics such as West Side Story, Mamma Mia or Mary Poppins, organising an end-of-year party or a Christmas reunion has never been more inspiring, with the management offering a number of incentives with specific benefits for the larger groups.
Le Méridien St Julian’s Hotel & Spa is offering party bookers subscription at no extra cost to their loyalty programme SPG (Starwood Preferred Guest), which will entitle them to earn points for each euro spent. These points can eventually be redeemed for free nights in Starwood hotels worldwide.
