A woman was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Salina Road in the limits of Naxxar at 8am yesterday. The 31-year-old woman, from Żebbug, was driving a Hyundai Getz that crashed into a truck coming from the opposite direction. The truck driver was a 60-year-old man from Naxxar. Civil Protection Department and ambulance personnel helped to extract the woman from the wreckage.
