Thailand is a great holiday destination. Known as ‘The Golden Land’ due to its rich and diverse culture and the warm welcome you get from the Thai people, it offers an irresistible combination of breathtaking natural beauty, inspiring temples, outstanding hospitality, beaches, nightlife, shopping and superb cuisine.

Thailand is a large country, stretching over 1,600km from North to South. It is also a land of incredible diversity, temples and modern urban excitement. With an independent history going back more than seven centuries, it has managed to absorb a variety of cultural influences and blend them into something uniquely and memorably Thai.

Thailand is a very safe and friendly destination. Many people think that Thailand is not a place for families or honeymooners just because they think only about the wrong places. Thailand is a perfect holiday for everyone but before you book, take a professional advice as not all places are perfect for everyone.

The best destinations in Thailand include Bangkok, a restless and chaotic metropolis which is an essential part of a trip to Thailand. Although not everyone’s cup of tea, the capital has some incredible places of interest. You should really visit the Grand Palace and if you have time, take a trip to Wat Arun, which is one of the oldest and best-known landmarks in Bangkok, and to Wat Po, home to a huge reclining Buddha. The more adventurous can head to the notorious backpacker’s road Khao San, Chinatown’s alleys, bazaars and the infamous Patpong Night Market in the city’s red light district.

Another unmissable attraction is Damneon Saduak, the floating market made famous by the James Bond classic The Man with the Golden Gun. Found on the Damneon Saduak Canal, the market is a fun and photogenic experience. The region also has plenty of vineyards, orchards and thriving local businesses.

Chang Mai is the second most visited place in Thailand. Chiang Mai is also home to many western expats who wanted something a little less crazy than Bangkok. Chiang Mai is nestled in a valley between mountains and is one of Thailand’s most beautiful cities. Chiang Mai offers world-class restaurants, tiny street stalls serving extraordinary food, cafes, and shopping malls and two of the country’s largest night markets selling traditional Thai products.

Many people think that there will be lot of health and safety concerns to contend with when visiting Thailand. The truth is that Thailand is far safer than many other tourist destinations. If you take normal precautions, you shouldn’t have to worry about keeping healthy and safe while you are there.

You must experience this amazing county where the people are probably the most gracious hosts of any destination on Earth. No request will seem a chore to them – they are just pleased and proud to be a part of your vacation.
