Kevin Cutajar, a MEP candidate, was right when he said he feels proud to speak at the Granaries because this echoes speeches delivered by great political leaders like Eddie Fenech Adami and Lawrence Gonzi.
At the Granaries Simon Busuttil delivered an honest and credible message of hope for this country. As Beppe Fenech Adami recently said the Nationalist Party is broke but not broken. This is good news for the safeguarding of democracy, accountability and transparency in Malta.
The PN is synonymous with the country’s best achievements and the electorate can rest assured that when the time comes there will be a reliable party with a united leadership team to vote for. A team with a leader setting high standards of integrity and competence
This is indeed a breath of fresh air at the end of the first six months of the Labour Administration characterised by broken promises including those broken in the most unethical manner ranging from political appointments to zero transparency.
With all its shortcomings the PN was correct when it warned the people before the election that the Labour Party did not have a job creation strategy and this would be detrimental to the economy.
Busuttil has restructured and renewed the PN to be able to present the electorate sound policies that enhance Malta’s reputation, offer opportunities for all and also promote a sense of solidarity, particularly among those who are vulnerable.
The PN is back in business.
