Hundreds of artistic and design creations and innovations by students at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology’s Institute of Art and Design were recently displayed at an exhibition entitled ‘Refreshments provided’ at the institute’s premises at Tarġa Gap, Mosta.

This year’s theme was a pun on the phrase normally associated with food and drink, whereby the students sought to ‘refresh’ the public’s senses through new ways of looking at different concepts, objects, media and art forms.

In a similar way, this exhibition was not only a celebration of the students’ artistic talents but is also presenting visitors with food for thought, in the form of designs, paintings, 3D creations, interactive productions, films, sculptures and installations incorporating different media, materials and technologies.
