This is a must-win match for both Floriana and Vittoriosa Stars as the two Relegation Pool rivals bid to distance themselves from the bottom two places in the standings.

Floriana coach Ian Dawes is without Nigerian defender Sunday Eboh who is nursing a groin injury while striker Steve Pisani must serve a one-match ban as the Greens look to chalk up their second win following their 3-2 success over Qormi. Nigerian defender Ibok Edet and Joseph Borg return from suspension.

Oliver Spiteri, the Stars coach, has an almost full squad at his disposal with Siraj Arab the only absentee as he is recovering from a groin strain.

Rabat Ajax vs Qormi (today at 20.15, Tedesco Stadium).

Qormi will fancy their chances of picking up their first victory in the Relegation Pool when they take on bottom side Rabat Ajax.

The Yellow-Blacks are second-from-bottom on eight points.

Coach Karel Zeman is boosted by the return from suspension of Roderick Sammut and Giorgio Gianola but fellow defender Owen Bugeja and goalkeeper Matthew Farrugia are still out injured.

Rabat coach Steve D’Amato will have a much stronger squad available after missing seven regular players in Saturday’s creditable 1-1 draw against Naxxar.

Diego Carrillo Pendas, Jonathan Bajada, Dylan Falzon and David Azzopardi return from suspension but Dani Pelaez and Adam Smeir remain sidelined with injury.

Balzan vs Sliema Wanderers (tomorrow at 18.00, Hibs Stadium).

Buoyed by their battling draw against Valletta, Sliema will be looking to step up their bid for a top-three finish with victory over Balzan.

The Wanderers, just one point adrift of third-placed Hibernians, will have to make do without defender Clifford Gatt Baldacchino who was forced to leave the pitch early in the second half on Sunday after picking up an injury.

Abubakar Bello-Osagie will undergo a late fitness test.

Balzan duo Pedrinho and Edison Zarate Bilbao must serve a one-match ban while Justin Grioli is out after suffering an injury in the 3-1 defeat to Birkirkara on Sunday.

Naxxar Lions vs Tarxien Rainbows (tomorrow at 18.00, National Stadium).

Naxxar Lions will be in search of their first win in five matches as they look to push themselves towards Premier League safety.

Winston Muscat, the Naxxar coach, is expected to rely on the same squad that featured in a 1-1 draw with Rabat as Mattia Del Negro and Victor Bellia are injured.

Tarxien, third-from-bottom on nine points, must take something from this match to boost their own survival hopes.

Coach Clive Mizzi is set to welcome back Ryan Sammut who missed the 1-1 draw with Vittoriosa due to influenza but Karl Pulo is out injured. Wing-back Luca Martinelli, who has been hampered by a hamstring injury, will undergo a late fitness test

Birkirkara vs Mosta (tomorrow at 20.00, Hibs Stadium).

Birkirkara’s title credentials face another stern test tomorrow when the champions take on the fast-improving Mosta.

The Stripes, 3-1 winners over Balzan last weekend, will not have an easy task against a Mosta team who showed their European intentions with a 2-1 win over Hibs on Saturday, their sixth in a row.

Paul Zammit, the Birkirkara coach, is set to be without two midfield players as Paul Fenech injured his quad against Balzan on Sunday while Rowen Muscat is still struggling with a knee injury.

Mosta coach Enrico Piccioni welcomes back in the fray Cameroon defender Jonas Rodriguez Ekani, who skipped the Hibs match through suspension, but Dyson Falzon is still out after undergoing cruciate surgery.
