Fulham: Championship club Fulham have signed Bulgaria centre-back Nikolay Bodurov from Litex Lovech on a three-year contract, the four-times Bulgarian champions said yesterday. “The deal includes an option for one more year,” the Lovech-based side said in a statement, adding that Bodurov had joined his new club at their training camp in Innsbruck, Austria.

Steer: Aston Villa have allowed back-up goalkeeper Jed Steer to join League One club Doncaster on a three-month loan deal. Steer joined Villa on a free transfer from Norwich last summer but, given the form of Brad Guzan, he made just three appearances, all in cup matches.

Hangeland: Experienced Norwegian defender Brede Hangeland has made the short move across London from Fulham to Crystal Palace, signing a one-year deal yesterday. “I’m absolutely delighted. All the things I’ve heard about this club – the manager, the players, the staff – it’s all been good things and I’ve seen that for myself this morning,” Hangeland said. Hangeland, 33, made more than 200 appearances for Fulham since signing from FC Copenhagen in 2008, establishing himself as a rugged central defender.

Selke: Werder Bremen forward Davie Selke says he is committed to the Bundesliga club, despite speculation linking him with a move away this summer. The 19-year-old shone as Germany won the UEFA U-19 Championship in Hungary on Thursday, scoring in every game but the final. “I’m going to fly back to Bremen now and talk with the bosses to see where things go from here, and then I am 100% certain I will continue with Werder,” he said.

Pantic: Villarreal defender Aleksandar Pantic has joined Primera Division newcomers Cordoba on a season-long loan. The 22-year-old Serbia U-21 centre-back becomes the ninth player to join Albert Ferrer’s side in the summer transfer window, a day after the club an-nounced the loan capture of Juventus midfielder Fausto Rossi.

Rossi probe: Sebastiano Rossi, the former Milan goalkeeper, is under investigation for cocaine possession, police said yesterday. The 50-year-old is believed to be in custody following phone conversations he had with an Albanian drug dealer. Three years ago, Rossi was also arrested after hitting a policeman in his face during a brawl in a bar. Rossi still holds the Italian league record of 929 minutes without conceding a goal.
