Ramos: Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk coach Juande Ramos is to leave the Ukrainian Premier League club after taking them to the Champions League for the first time in their history. Ramos, the former Sevilla and Tottenham Hotspur head coach, has rejected a new contract after his current four-year deal expired.

De Sanctis: Roma goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis will be out of action for two months while he recovers from elbow surgery. De Sanctis missed only two league games and kept 21 clean sheets for Roma as they finished second to champions Juventus. The 37-year-old stopper had been suffering from continual pains in his elbow over recent months and should be back in time for pre-season training in July.

Riga Goes: Jose Riga has confirmed he will not be in charge of Charlton next season. The Belgian coach only took charge in March and managed to keep the Addicks in the Championship after presiding over seven wins, three draws and six defeats. He revealed to Sky Sports News that his contract was only until the end of the 2013/14 season and that he had achieved his “mission” in keeping the London club in the second tier.

Mainz: Mainz and Thomas Tuchel have reached a settlement to cover the final year of the former coach’s contract after he resigned at the end of the season. Tuchel will no longer be paid by the club, who have already appointed Kasper Hjulmand as his replacement, but he is not free to take on any other job without first seeking Mainz’s permission. Any club looking to appoint Tuchel would then have to pay a fee to Mainz for his services.

Ruello: Rene Ruello has returned for a third spell as Rennes president. The 65-year-old, who led the club from 1990 to 1998 and from 2000 to 2002, takes over from Frederic de Saint-Sernin at the Stade de la Route de Lorient. Rennes finished 12th in Ligue 1 this season under the stewardship of De Saint-Sernin and coach Philippe Montanier.

Colombia: Colombia coach Jose Pekerman has cut three players from his World Cup squad. America defender Aquivaldo Mosquera, Mainz midfielder Elkin Soto and Al Shabab midfielder Macnelly Torres have been told they will not be on the plane to Brazil. Star player Falcao is still in a race to be fit for the tournament after a serious knee injury.
