MARSEILLE: Midfielders Benoit Cheyrou and Morgan Amalfitano have both been ruled out of Marseille’s league and French Cup games at PSG due to injury. Cheyrou, already set to miss tomorrow’s Ligue 1 clash, has not recovered from a thigh problem and will not make the squad for their last 16 cup tie on Wednesday. Amalfitano has been suffering with knee pain and will be out of action for weeks.

McARDLE: Bradford defender Rory McArdle could be in contention for the League Cup final with Swansea at Wembley tomorrow. The 25-year-old, who suffered an ankle injury at Fleetwood nearly three weeks ago, returned to training this week and, if he passes a late fitness test, will face competition from the fit-again Andrew Davies, plus fellow centre-backs Michael Nelson and Carl McHugh.

DUFF: Fulham midfielder Damien Duff has signed a one-year contract extension, the club have confirmed. Duff, who will turn 34 next month, has agreed to extend his stay at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2014. The veteran’s signature comes as welcome news for Fulham, who have 11 players who are due to come out of contract at the end of the season.

CHIELLINI: Italy centre-back Giorgio Chiellini could make his return for Juventus against Siena tomorrow, as manager Antonio Conte looks to shuffle his pack ahead of next week’s top-of-the-table clash at Napoli. Chiellini, who has been out since December with a calf injury, is not yet 100 per cent fit and is also one booking away from a ban which would see him miss the Napoli game on March 1.

FRANCA: Hanover will be without their new signing Franca for several months after he was diagnosed with tuberculosis. The 21-year-old midfielder joined the club from Brazilian first-division club Coritiba during the winter break, but has yet to make his debut as he worked his way up to fitness.

RANOCCHIA: Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia will miss the derby with Milan tomorrow after sustaining a knee injury during Thursday’s 3-0 Europa League win over CFR Cluj. The 25-year-old suffered ligament damage to his right knee.

LEAGUE ONE: Notts County vs Bury 4-1.

DIVISION TWO: Pembroke vs Sta Venera 4-0.
