Chamakh: Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh will miss today’s Champions League clash against Marseille after suffering a knee injury. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger revealed that Chamakh has been ruled out of the French club’s visit to the Emirates Stadium and he could be sidelined for several weeks.

Rhodes: Scotland striker Jordan Rhodes is set for an international double-header with promotion to the Scotland set-up. Scotland man-ager Craig Levein has confirmed the Huddersfield striker will be included in his squad for the friendly against Cyprus on November 11. Rhodes is also likely to feature for Scotland U-21 when they face Holland in a Euro qualifier three days later.

Hazard: Lille midfielder Eden Hazard has revealed his desire to move abroad at the end of the season. The 20-year-old is contracted to Lille until 2015, but said: “I feel ready to make it to the next level at a big club. I stayed in Lille this season because there were still things I had to work on, things to prove. But now, I’m ready.”

Diouf: Doncaster have completed the signing of former Bolton and Liverpool forward El Hadji Diouf on a three-month contract. The 30-year-old Senegal international has been without a club since he was released by Blackburn last season.

Borini: Roma are bracing them-selves to play without striker Fabio Borini for the next two months because of injury. The U-21 international has sustained a thigh muscle strain.
