With the school holidays in full swing, Emirates’ in-flight entertainment system has been specially-loaded with entertainment for younger fliers this month.
Recent winner of the 2011 Skytrax World’s Best Airline Inflight Entertainment award, Emirates’ Ice (Information, Communications and Entertainment) Digital Widescreen has the complete set of Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean films, including the latest adventure, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, exclusively available throughout this month, before any other airline in the world.
With over 35 dedicated children’s TV channels, Emirates is screening international hits such as In the Night Garden, Bob the Builder, Thomas and Friends, Roary the Racing Car and Rastamouse.
In addition to television and music options, Ice Digital Widescreen is screening over 30 Disney feature films, including recent Disney/Pixar blockbusters Monsters Inc., WALL-E, Finding Nemo, Up and Cars.
Hollywood’s latest animated and live-action family hits are also available on board, notably Kung Fu Panda 2, Rio, Hoodwinked 2: Hood vs. Evil, Rango, Mars Needs Moms, Gulliver’s Travels, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and more.
Ice Digital Widescreen offers over 1,200 channels of entertainment, including over 280 films from around the world, hundreds of TV choices and thousands of music tracks. Ice Digital Widescreen is available on all Emirates A380s and select Boeing 777s.
