Eighteen-year old pop artist Sophie last week registered another significant milestone in her musical career. Further to representing Malta at the Junior Eurovision and appearing regularly on TV, the Anglo-Maltese singer, songwriter and choreographer took part in three music events in the UK, all related to Queen Elisabeth II’s Jubilee celebrations.

The first of Sophie’s scheduled performances was on June 2, when she performed during the Picnic on The Park in King’s Lynn.

The next day she shared the bill with a star-studded line-up at Whitehaven Harbour, performing alongside Katherine Jenkins, The Enemy and The Charlatans.

Sophie’s third performance on June 4 also involved professional dancers from the YADA Dance Company and took place at Reading Carnival alongside BBC Radio 1 Xtra sensation Seani B, among others.

These appearances were part of Sophie’s UK promotional tour which will see her perform right across the country later this summer.

Sophie’s new single Sunny will be released on the Thru The Mill Label by Absolute/Universal Music later this summer, with the young singer’s album to follow later in the year.
