Between January 1 and the end of May this year there were 57 patients at Mater Dei Hospital flagged as social cases, Health Minister Joseph Cassar told Anthony Agius Decelis (PL) in reply to a parliamentary question.
On the cut-off date, 26 other patients were expecting to be visited by the rehabilitation consultant, had been transferred to Mount Carmel or Sir Paul Boffa Hospitals or had been put up in temporary homes.
