About €800 in cash and €600 worth of phone cards were stolen from an outlet in Paceville on Saturday night.

The robbery took place in Ross Street, Paceville, when a 17-year-old salesman was held at knifepoint by a person who walked into the shop and demanded money at about 11pm.

Magistrate Doreen Clarke was informed about the case and ordered a magisterial inquiry.
