The Seven Wednesdays of Devotion, in preparation for the Feast of St Joseph the Worker, will begin on January 25.
The Seven Wednesdays are organised by Arċikonfraternità of St Joseph in the National Sanctuary of St Joseph, crowned Church of St Mary Jesus of the Franciscan Friars, Rabat and Mdina
Every Wednesday at 5.30 p.m. from January 25, there will be a recital of the rosary and a prayer to St Joseph. This will be followed by Mass with a homily and Eucharistic celebration.
On January 25, the focus will be on ‘St Joseph: the man chosen by God’. Mass will be led by Fr Leslie Gatt.
On February 1, the focus will be on ‘St Joseph: the whole perfect human with spirit of God’. Mass will be led by Fr Zammit Ewkarist.
On February 8 the theme will be ‘St Joseph: the man with pure heart’. Mass will be led by Fr Marcellino Micallef.
February 15 looks at ‘St Joseph and his great dignity’, with Mass led by Fr Paul Camilleri.
‘St Joseph: head of the Holy Family and Catholic Church’ is the focus on February 29 with Mass led by Fr ChristopherCaruana.
On March 7, the theme will be ‘St Joseph and his majesty’, with Mass led by Fr Joe Buhagiar, while the final Wednesday (March 14) looks at ‘St Joseph: model for every Christian’.
The final Mass will be led by Fr Antoine Borg.
