Children might be spending more time at school in future and a White Paper on the matter is in the pipeline.

The idea will be to collect feedback about extending the hours, especially in light of the heavy traffic that hits the roads when parents and organised transport take children to school.

Another White Paper will list the government’s proposals on regulating the real estate sector, in­cluding agents and property consultants.

The document, which will be released in the coming weeks, aims for a wide consultation on how the country’s economy can be strengthened through a bigger property market.

Another consultation document will look into the possibility of consolidating en­­forcement under one entity.

At present, businesses are inspected and, if need be, slapped with enforcement action by the planning authority, the employment corporation and the tourism authority, among others.

A draft law on cohabitation is being drawn up and a public consultation process will then follow.

The government is dis­cuss­ing the issue with experts in family law and equality. The proposal will include different types of families.

There will also be a White Paper that will start the process to enact a law on organ donation.
