Firms are increasingly using social media tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter to recruit and manage their employer brand online. But others are still sceptical and have chosen to steer clear of the phenomenon.

Careerpassport, the web-based recruitment platform, and boutique employment law firm Twenty-One Law have joined forces to present a three-hour workshop to examine the use of social media from recruitment and legal perspectives.

The aim of this workshop is to help and guide employers and HR managers on the use and application of social media in work and personal contexts.

The one-hour talks by Careerpassport’s Josef Said and Twenty-One Law’s Roslyn Borg Knight will be held at Le Meridien Hotel and Spa, St Julian’s, on January 27.
