Robbie Williams has named his son Charlton Valentine and introduced him to his fans in another online video.

The singer posted the film, which shows him holding his baby son and being pushed in a wheelchair by his wife Ayda Field, and joked: “Charlton Valentine Williams has left the building... and daddy is doing just fine.”

The Angels star provided fans with an online commentary from his wife’s bedside in the run-up to their son’s birth. He posted a string of videos and pictures showing him in hospital, before concluding the commentary with a clip of the proud parents speaking of their joy at welcoming their son.

“I’ve never been more in love and never been more proud of my wife, she’s been absolutely astonishing,” he told his Twitter followers. “It’s been a very emotional, amazing few hours and we’re really happy and honoured that you experienced the journey with us.”

The couple, who have a daughter Theodora, posted a series of clips that showed a picture of Field wearing sparkly high-heeled shoes, and a video showing a doctor preparing to break his wife’s waters.
