Last weekend, a group of four gymnasts from Club Ritmica Malta participated at the Beroe Cup tournament in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria.

The level of competition was high but the young Ritmica gymnasts returned home with creditable international rankings.

Christy Bugeja placed fourth in Group A, Victoria Micallef was second overall (first in floor and second in rope) in Group B, Vika Titova was a runner-up in Group B and Monika Lazarova fourth overall (third in ball) in Group A.

At the Beroe Cup, gymnasts were grouped according to their level with Group A featuring those from the top bracket and Group B laying more emphasis on developing talent.

The young Club Ritmica Malta girls were able to make the trip to Bulgaria thanks also to the support of sponsors Hydrolectric and Megaline.
