We have many a time questioned the government about its actions over the past few months. Rightly so! However, we many time tend to forget asking what is expected of a responsible opposition.

In a recession of the magnitude which Europe faces, all the opposition is interested in is to get into power at all costs rather than giving the government a hand to see the country out of economic turmoil.

They try to portray themselves as having cleaned away their awful past. What they have only done away with is their old slogan – Malta first and foremost!
