The small community of San Lawrenz will tomorrow be transformed into a Biblical landscape as it narrates the biggest story ever told in a colourful Christmas pageant. It follows last year’s success, pictured above, when the pageant first emerged from households and allowed spectators to join in, offering a lively and innovative attraction. This year promises to be even bigger and a magnificent, original architectural projection mapping show will accompany the production. Starting at 6pm, the nativity experience, themed Twieled Għalihom Ukoll (He was born for them too), will see the participation of at least 200 actors. The pageant emerges from the parish church and passes through the main streets of San Lawrenz and some of its households. This special night will be illuminated by candlelight.
