Radio stations are due to fall silent for four hours tomorrow morning.

The Broadcasting Authority said urgent maintenance was needed on transmission equipment at the Għargħur Tower while smart meters were to be installed at each of the station’s transmitter services.

The work is expected to take place between 6am and 11am. The authority apologised for any inconvenience to be caused.

It also said that it had issued a licence for a new teleshopping channel to be broadcasting exclusively on Melita. Yes Lifestyle TV will go on air on Saturday.
