Gozo College’s primary school in Victoria, also known as the ‘Happy School’, held a Pyjama Day in aid of the Puttinu Cares Foundation.

Children were allowed to attend school in their pyjamas and were asked to donate €1 or more to help the foundation and show solidarity towards sick children in hospital.

The children were very enthusiastic and enjoyed the special day. Pupils from the fifth and sixth grades danced and sang during the school’s morning assembly and prayed for a sick Gozitan boy who attended the event.

Artist Steve Mifsud of Qala, who is also raising funds for the foundation, was present and created a dog made out of recycled metal.

College principal Victor Galea was present for the activity.
