Interrailers have more opportunities to explore Europe by land and water.

A new, one-country Attica Pass gives travellers the chance to hop between Greek islands by ferry and Swiss boat services on Lake Brienz and Lake Thun are now completely integrated into the Interrail global pass.

Including up to six individual trips within one month, the Attica Pass allows Interrailers to use Attica Group’s ferries between Italy and Greece as well as services around islands such as Crete, Santorini and Mykonos.

Both first and second-class accommodation is available and all surcharges such as fuel and port fees are inclusive. For information, visit www.eurailgroup.org/attica

“As well as a standalone product, the Attica Pass is the perfect addition to the Interrail global pass to anyone wishing to explore Europe not only by land, but also by sea,” said Carlo Boselli, general manager of Eurail Group.

Heading north to Switzerland, BLS’s boat services on Lake Brienz and Lake Thun are now completely integrated into the Interrail Global Pass, as opposed to a previous 50 per cent discount allowing travellers to experience the breathtaking views.

These product updates are part of a wider company strategy to make travelling with Interrail as accessible and convenient as possible.

Other recent enhancements include the family concept, first-class youth pass and price reductions to the adult and senior passes.

Interrail passes are sold at www.interrail.eu and by local European railways.
