The Arriva service is very welcome and will certainly contribute to getting both locals and tourists to use the bus service more often than one has done in the past. But its programme is very ambitious and that is how it should be.

Allow me space to ask those responsible both within the company and also within the other service departments concerned why the park-and-ride facility at the former Luxol Grounds, Pembroke, is still in pitch darkness and empty.

Also, the zebra crossing immediately opposite this area, on the St Andrews Road, appears to have been damaged and is not active. Is this not a very urgent task noting that crossing at night, particularly, is extremely dangerous at that junction? Finally, why are there no lights at the bus stop on the Pembroke side of St Andrews Road close to this same zebra crossing? Total darkness. Can you imagine what it is like at night there? This “stop” has been without lights for weeks! Disgraceful, to say the least, is it not?

Arriva, please have the above issues seen to immediately before a fresh accident occurs!

Yes, we are waiting for action please.
