Prime Minister Joseph Muscat recently asked people to think of him when filling their car petrol tanks.

In other words he asked those who use petrol – and not diesel – to vote for him and his party by supporting Labour candidates in this month’s elections for the European Parliament as a gesture of gratitude for the petrol price cut of two cents per litre.

Using this same criterion what should people do when they look around and see the Nationalist Party’s vision over the years translated into opportunities for us Maltese and European citizens?
