It is a real pity that Leo Brincat chose to read through partisan-tinted glasses (The Sunday Times, July 1) my piece ‘Where is Leo Brincat?’ in which I commended his recent stances (but this seems to be lost on him).
It is a real pity that he shunted the opportunity to enlighten readers on whether he endorses his leader’s declarations in favour of land reclamation, the extension of the Mġarr yacht marina, agritourism with ‘buildings in fields’, a possible extension of the Gozo airstrip and the fast-tracking of major projects in Gozo (Ta’ Ċenċ perhaps?).
I am sure he would love to speak his mind. It is also a pity that the need to maintain his tenability within the Labour Party precludes him from doing so.
