Parliamentary Secretary Jason Azzopardi’s title of his December 14 article Owner Of One’s House, Finally lacks an end: at landlords’ expense.

Landlords have been fleeced by the government by receiving rents 60 years out of date since the last war. He now proudly tells us that the government has acquired 150 premises at an average price of €6,666 each (equivalent to Lm2,860).

What rankles is that he and his government seem proud of this achievement. There was I thinking this was a government for all!
