An Education Open Week started last Friday at the Lifelong Learning Centre, Qrejten Street, Msida. During the week, visitors will be able to find out more about over 200 courses on offer by the Directorate for Lifelong Learning.

Various activities will be held every day from 8.45am to 1.30pm. These include food celebrations to promote the learning of languages, presentations, quizzes, competitions and a reading session with Trevor Zahra on Friday.

An information session will take place on Thursday at noon.

The activities will conclude with a walk and talk tour around Valletta on May 6 that will focus on the Portuguese influence in Malta and will end with a stop to eat Portuguese cake and coffee at 11am.
