Malta Improv Group is staging Theatre-on-Tap, a night full of spontaneity, comedy, games and challenges.

Although improvisation is a relatively new form of performance art, Malta Improv Group has been successful in its last two shows.

Throughout the night, the audience is invited to set the context of a scene, including the location and the relationships they want to see. In this way, the viewer plays a role in the performance they will witness as the actors weave the suggestions into an original scene right there and then.

Malta Improv Group was formed by Joelle Merheb. Originally from Lebanon, Merheb started her theatre career by attending Improv workshops where it evolved to advanced levels. She later took part in method acting classes and has featured in movies as well as several theatre performances. She was also part of a dance academy where she had the chance to handle classes and do live performances all around Lebanon.

Other Improv actors include Andrew Bonello, Florian Hohenleitner, Elena Usenko, Vladimir Čabak and Stefan Djoric.

Theatre-On-Tap takes place tomorrow at Deporres Hall, Tigné Seafront, Sliema, at 8pm. For more information or to book tickets, send a message to their official facebook page https://www.facebook.com/MaltaImprovGroup , e-mail maltaimprovgroup@gmail.com or call 7704 1130. Those attending are requested not to be late.
