As the publishers of Malta’s leading newspapers, we consistently aim for higher standards to meet the growing expectations of our customers and we are constantly exploring ways of controlling our costs in order to keep the price of our newspapers as reasonable as possible.

Notwithstanding this, like most services and products on the market – both local and international – overall production costs have increased so much over the past years that it is no longer possible to offer readers our newspapers at current prices.

In this regard, with effect from November 13, the price of The Sunday Times will increase to €1.20 while that of The Times will go up to 70c from Monday to Friday as from this coming Monday. The price of the Saturday paper will remain €1.

While we feel that we have still managed to keep our prices at an extremely reasonable level, the increase will nonetheless enable us to continue to invest in the kind of quality journalism that has, over the years, made us the undisputed provider of independent news content on the island. This has been, and will always remain, our foremost commitment to our readers.
