I suggest that Sir Arturo Mercieca Street, in Victoria be turned into a pedestrian area, at least during school hours. There is a constant flow of traffic, including fully loaded trucks, through this narrow street, making this a very noisy road indeed.

What is more worrying is that a whole wing of classrooms forming part of the Victoria primary school have their windows overlooking this busy street, so one can imagine the noise that the pupils have to endure during class? This will surely affect their learning.
