More than five weeks ago, I sent an e-mail to the Senglea local council and asked them the simplest of questions: do you publish some sort of magazine?

After more than five weeks, they were still not in a position to answer yes or no.

So I sent a letter to the mayor and explained to him why I had asked that question. Not even an acknowledgment.

I sent two e-mails to Lidl Malta. Not even an acknowledgement.

I was watching some adverts about the Android TV Box, or whatever it is called, and contacted three companies asking them for more details. Not even an acknowledgement.

And all these give us their e-mail addresses, the usual addresses, fixed and mobile telephone numbers and ask us to be kind enough to do them a favour and contact them. Because they are at our service.

And then we are scandalised because politicians act like that. Of course, it all depends on whether this happens before or after an election.
