Lisa Pullicino, Michel Ganado, and Ryan Sciberras have been named partners at PwC Malta with effect from July 1.

We will be naming additional partners in the coming years

Ms Pullicino joined the firm as an audit associate in 1996 and spent nine years in assurance. In 2005 she took up a full-time role within the firm’s human capital function which she continues to hold today. She leads a team of six people and drives the HR strategy of a 450-strong firm. In January 2010, she was responsible for setting up and launching PwC’s Academy in Malta.

Michel Ganado joined the firm in 1989 and has been involved in consultancy assignments locally and internationally. His experience includes strategy, programme and project management, performance improvement, human resource management, research and economic studies, policy advice and evaluation across several industries. More recently, he has been active in developing the firm’s services within the public sector, particularly within the domain of EU-related services.

Ryan Sciberras joined the firm in 1998 after obtaining a first class degree in Accountancy from the University of Malta. He spent his first four years within the assurance practice, servicing a varied portfolio of clients, and experiencing a six-month secondment at the PwC office in Jersey. In 2002, he joined the firm’s advisory practice with a varied client base. He is an accredited trainer in corporate finance. For the past 12 years, he has been a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy at the University of Malta.

PwC Malta’s territory senior partner Kevin Valenzia said: “I am sure that we will be naming additional partners across all our lines of service in the coming years. We have set ourselves ambitious growth targets. Increasing the number of partners is a key component.”
