While congratulating all concerned for a job well done, I wonder why it was decided that the new olive grove at San Ġwann had to be made inaccessible to dogs.

There are two categories of dogs. Domestic dogs are harmless and would be typically kept on a lead. Stray dogs can’t read the signage and will enter the grove anyway.

San Ġwann is characterised by a high number of animal lovers who would typically want to go for a walk with their canine friend. Alas, the new garden is now out of bounds. What a pity.
