Three Nadur residents have called on a court to order the removal of street furniture and a plastic tent set outside a restaurant in the square.

Andrew Muscat and his son Shaun, as well as 93-year-old neighbour Michelina Theuma, filed a judicial protest against the land and police commissioners, and planning authority.

They claimed Andrew Muscat’s small shop in Arċipriet Dun Martin Camilleri square was being “substantially obstructed” by chairs, tables, and a plastic tent erected around them, belonging to Anthony’s Bar and Restaurant.

Shaun Muscat and Ms Theuma were beset by constant noise from the restaurant under their property.
