The Fondation de Malte has set up an annual memorial lecture to be given by an eminent personality to commemorate the vision and work of Rev. Prof. Peter Serracino Inglott.

The lectures will focus on religion, arts, literature, political science and philosophy. The vision of Fr Peter, who died last month, sustained the objectives behind the foundation, it said.

The Fondation de Malte is an international NGO set up in memory of Mercedes Busuttil and dedicated to cultural affairs, environmental concerns, education and human rights. It organises seminars, conferences, courses and publications.

It is chaired by Salvino Busuttil with David Raphaël as executive director.
