Malta Enterprise is planning three business visits to Milan, Tunis, Cologne and Munich in the coming months and is receiving applications from businessmen who wish to form part of these delegations.

The three business delegations form part of Malta Enterprise’s internationalisation events, through which the corporation assists enterprises based in Malta to seek business leads in foreign markets and internationalise their operations while promoting the island as a trade and investment location.

The business delegation to Milan is scheduled to take place between May 21 and 24.

Transport and logistics and construction and related services were promising areas for business opportunities in connection with the Tunisia visit, set for June 13-17, Malta Enterprise said. This will be the third visit to the country since last year’s revolution.

Following the successful visit to Dusseldorf and Berlin last year, the business delegation to Germany will be visiting Cologne and Munich in the first week of July.

Malta Enterprise said it could cover part of the costs for one representative of each participating company, reimbursing 60 per cent of the cost of an economy flight ticket and providing a per diem allowance.
