I strongly discourage anyone who is thinking of using a venue in Mdina for their special occasion. Whoever intended to attend would surely appreciate it.
The parking availability near this very beautiful place has been enormously reduced. On September 15, the scouts had a Mass celebration at the cathedral. I am a leading soprano of the choir there. I was at Mdina 20 minutes early, due to bumper-to-bumper traffic, and could not find anywhere to park. So, reluctantly, I had to go back home. I humbly apologise to the scouts for not giving my service on their occasion.
I’ve already been a victim of the wardens at Mdina, having to park in a corner but not in a white box! And this to render a service. They evidently enjoy filling up their books on such occasions.
