On Saturday, the second game between Hunningham and Marsa was played at the Marsa Sports Club Cricket Ground. The first game was played the day before.
Batting first, the home team produced a great performance. Malcolm Crabbe started it off, scoring 41 runs which included six fours.
Simon Lavendar, Crabbe’s opening partner, made two runs fewer but scored seven fours with some excellent cover drives. Bikram Arora hit 29 runs, John Grima 38, Haroon Majeed 21 and Raja Zubair 11.

Hunningham went with all guns blazing and had a good run rate, 170 runs of 28 overs.
The only problem was that they were all out losing by 87 runs.
Sarfraz Ali bowled an impressive spell, taking the last two wickets in consecutive balls.
As these were the first two balls he bowled, the next time he bowls against a touring team, in a a couple of weeks’ time, he will be on a hat-trick.
In Friday’s twenty over game, the visitors racked up a formidable score of 142 runs.
Marsa were up against it but they refused to give in. Bikram Arora produced a pearl of an innings, scoring 37 runs not out from 19 balls, which included three sixes and a four.
With 20 extras, the home team won with an over to spare.
For Marsa this was their first series win of the year.

Also on Saturday, the Sunoco Cricket Academy will be from 9 till 10.30am.
