The Malta U-21 national team will continue their preparations for the UEFA Championship qualifiers when this evening they face Italian regional side ASD Vigor Mellis at the MFA training grounds in Ta’ Qali (kick-off: 6.30pm).

Coach Ray Farrugia yesterday finalised a 23-man squad for the match. The list includes several new faces who will be closely assessed by the coaching staff with a view to represent the country in the upcoming Euro qualifiers.

Among the new players is Louis John Cutajar who plays for English county team Norwich United.
