The Malta Judo Federation (MJF) was given a boost following the inauguration of a new pavilion in Pembroke. This project was made possible thanks to the financial assistance of SportMalta which amounted to €100,000. The pavilion was inaugurated in the presence of Chris Agius, the parliamentary secretary for research, innovation, youth and sport, and top officials from SportMalta. “We are delivering what we promised by assisting minor sports through funding,” Agius said. Envic Galea, the MJF president, described this project as his biggest dream for the last 40 years, adding that he was overwhelmed to have had the opportunity to witness its transformation into reality.
