Just wanted to say a big well done and thank you to the Leone Band for the annual entertainment Leone Goes Pop 6 that took place at Independence Square (It-Tokk), on June 15. This musical appointment has become a must-see and much sought after.

It was the best Leone Goes Pop to date. Audiences seem to prefer pop to other types of music.

The square was packed to capacity, the enthusiasm reached the stars and the performance was impeccable.

The band, conducted by the exuberant maestro Colin Attard, wrote another golden page in its 150 years of existence. Singers Gianluca with Kevin Borg, Chiara and Deborah C. added lustre and joy to the big success of the night.

Now we await eagerly for the replica of Leone Goes Pop 6 at Marsalforn Bay in July and the performance of Verdi’s Falstaff in mid-October at the Aurora Theatre.

The old but everyoung Leone Band is always avant-garde and on the move to bigger success!
