Interior and architectural designer Simon Borg recently attended and completed a design course in London at the Chelsea School of Design and Architectural Lighting. Lectures were by CIDEA, a world-renowned architectural lighting company that carries out market research for high-end quality projects.

He also attended lectures by leading designers in the UK, such as bar and nightclub guru Mark Bithrey and Helen Green, each giving insight into latest trends and what is expected from designers in 2012. Borg has worked on luxury penthouses and apartments at Tignè Point, Fort Cambridge and Balluta Mansions. “My vision for 2012 represents this quest for uniqueness, preciousness and exclusivity. Instinctively, I am attracted to natural materials,” Borg said.

The essence of quality should be reflected in the way we address customers as individuals rather than as an anonymous abstract clientele. People like personal service and everybody dreams of having things created in a bespoke way for them,” he added.
