I have seen the design of the stalls that were intended to be put up at the entrance to Valletta, the European Capital of Culture 2018.

I do not know why people who haven’t got a clue are placed in a position to decide on such delicate matters. It is fine for such people to organise a Sunday summer picnic to Armier Bay or organise buses to take people to Xarabank – but for heaven’s sake! I thought that we had really reached the bottom, but I was wrong; it seems that there are further depths to be explored.

And by the way, the Maltese Cross, which of course is the Cross of the Order of St John, is not red but white.
