Leigh Griffiths scored a double as Hibernian came from behind to defeat 10-man St Mirren and move top of the Scottish Premier League.
Kenny McLean had put St Mirren ahead on the half hour mark with a sensational strike before in-form striker Griffiths grabbed an equaliser five minutes later.
The on-loan Wolves forward’s long range drive put Hibernian in front in the second half before St Mirren skipper Jim Goodwin saw red for his second bookable offence.
The win puts Pat Fenlon’s side top of the table a point ahead of Celtic, who face Dundee United at Tannadice today.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle moved up to third with a 2-1 win away to ten-man Kilmarnock.
Andrew Shinnie put Inverness in front at Rugby Park before Cammy Bell saved a Graeme Shinnie penalty on the stroke of half-time to stop them increasing their lead.
Liam Kelly equalised with a second half wonder strike before Bell was sent off for pulling down Ross Draper in the box. Substitute keeper Kyle Letheren’s first task was to pick the ball out the net as he was unable to prevent Billy McKay giving Inverness the win from the penalty spot.
Aberdeen’s 10-match unbeaten run in the SPL came to an end at Victoria Park as Ross County claimed a 2-1 win over the Dons.
