No one hit the jackpot in Friday night’s Grand Lottery, meaning the big prize has still not been claimed by any players since the game was introduced last March.
The jackpot in Friday’s lottery draw was a massive €1.25 million.
It will go up to €1.27 million in the next draw. The Grand Lottery takes place every two months.
Tickets cost €10 and 300,000 tickets are made available.
With each ticket there are 10 chances to win various cash prizes.
A spokesman for Maltco said she would not be able to answer questions on the popularity of the game or the chances of actually winning the jackpot until after the weekend.
