An enthusiastic group of Gasan Mamo employees rushed around Malta on a treasure hunt in aid of Fondazzjoni Wens.

The employees unlocked various clues in several locations in Malta, mainly the Delimara Lighthouse, Fort Delimara, Fort San Luċjan, Maqluba in Qrendi, Ta’ Haġrat Temples, Binġemma Chapel, The Inquisitor’s Palace in Siġġiewi and a country-side chapel in Wied Qirda in Żebbuġ. The teams completed the treasure hunt and had to scavenge 16 objects and return by 5.30pm.

“Like all the events we organise for our employees throughout the year, this was yet another successful one,” said Brian Scicluna from Gasan Mamo’s social activities committee.

The employees managed to raise €240 for Fondazzjoni Wens, an organisation committed to enhance the quality of life of disabled people through innovative personal support, expertise and advocacy.

The treasure hunt was won by the Catch the Pigeon team, made up of Hubert Said, Karl Borg, Vincent Scicluna and Kristian Vella.

Funtastic 5 placed second and consisted of Lara Cassar Magro, Roberta Portelli, Darryll Baldacchino, Trevor Rutter and Andre Curmi, while The Y-Nots – George Portelli Hale, Sarah Borg, Christine Fenech and Elaine Muscat – placed third.
