Whenever people are asked to donate or attend activities by the Island Sanctuary to raise funds for abandoned dogs, the response is always encouraging… So to reciprocate, Maltija, Puffy, Beauty, Prince and Chucky, on behalf of the 120 dogs at the sanctuary, accompanied by volunteers, walked with the President’s wife to help raise money for the Community Chest Fund.

Maltija and Puffy wore Banif T-shirts and bibs but Beauty, Prince and Chucky couldn’t wear any as there were none to fit their small sizes.

Agile Maltija and Puffy found no difficulty to walk all the way and only stopped for a few treats and some water. But tiny Chucky, Prince and Beauty had to be carried every now and then.
